Session about MCP servers at the Noordelijke Google Meetup

During this event, we'll delve into the world of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that makes AI integrations smarter and more scalable. Our colleague Richard Chirino, iOS Developer at Dawn Technology, will host the session “MCP Servers for App Developers: The Good, The Bad, and the Challenges.”

In his talk, Richard will explore what MCP servers are and why they're relevant for mobile developers. He'll demonstrate how the protocol helps connect fragmented AI integrations into a single, cohesive whole - with practical examples, demos, and insights into the benefits (interoperability), challenges (complexity), and lessons learned along the way.

This will be followed by a hands-on session with Rutger Roffel, Head of AI at New Nexus, where participants will learn how to build and integrate an MCP server into their own software products.

The evening offers an inspiring mix of knowledge sharing, live demos, and networking with other developers from across the Netherlands.
