Great technology doesn’t emerge in isolation. It improves when developers share their experiences, challenge one another, and work together to raise quality standards. That’s why we’re a member of the Dutch Laravel Foundation (DLF): the knowledge and industry organization for Laravel in the Netherlands.

The Dutch Laravel Foundation was established in 2019 to further professionalize the use of Laravel in the Netherlands. The foundation promotes the framework to businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions, and brings developers together through events, working groups, and knowledge articles. In addition, the foundation’s certification helps clients identify professional Laravel specialists.

At Dawn Technology, we believe that craftsmanship extends beyond the projects we work on ourselves. It also means that we are an active part of the communities surrounding the technology we use. Within such a community, developers can share practical experiences, discuss new developments, and explore together how software can be built and maintained more effectively.

This is precisely where we find common ground with the Dutch Laravel Foundation. The foundation originated from the community and is dedicated to raising the bar for knowledge and quality surrounding Laravel in the Netherlands. It now includes more than 45 agencies, independent professionals, and development teams.

The Dutch Laravel Foundation organizes various activities for its members each year. At LaraFest, the Laravel Hackathon, meetups, and the CxO dinner, developers and organizations come together to exchange knowledge and experiences. These events provide opportunities for in-depth technical discussions, real-world case studies, new ideas, and conversations about the future of custom software and Laravel.
