**Discovery**## The Need for a Scalable Learning Platform with Lower Operational Costs

As a training organisation with more than 250 employees and an extensive portfolio of courses, [Innovam](https://www.innovam.nl) was looking for a platform that would be easy to maintain, simple to expand and capable of reducing operational costs.

Another key requirement was seamless integration with existing business systems, including CRM and financial software, enabling efficient management of both educational and administrative processes.

The goal was to create a digital learning environment that could support continued growth while providing a better experience for both learners and internal teams.

**Design & development**## A Robust Platform for Learning, Planning and Administration

We developed a completely new platform consisting of three core components:

- An administrative back-office
- A public API
- A customer-facing website

The back-office manages the full operational workflow, including registrations, bookings, rescheduling, cancellations and fulfilment processes.

The website, built on Umbraco, provides an intuitive environment for managing training programmes and offers learners access to a personalised **My Innovam** portal for e-learning and course management.

To ensure long-term scalability and reliability, the platform was built using modern technologies, including:

- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- .NET Core
- Elasticsearch

This technology stack enables efficient deployment, high availability and strong performance while providing the flexibility required to support future innovation.
