KLM Health Services has over eighty years of experience conducting medical examinations for employees and private clients in specialized professions or activities. To record these examinations, we developed a user-friendly portal for KLM.
Besides examining its own pilots, KLM Health Services conducts medical screenings for expats, divers, firefighters, and taxi drivers. The goal was to create a portal that would simplify the process for both those examined and those performing the examinations.
With the new portal, KLM and its clients can easily manage all types of medical examinations administratively. Participants can schedule their own appointments, and KLM can fully manage, configure, and update the bilingual tool independently. This gives them autonomy and flexibility.
Both KLM Health Services and the first client using the tool, the Utrecht Safety Region, were enthusiastic about the portal’s usability and effectiveness.
The coronavirus pandemic was the first pandemic where IT played a crucial role in fighting the virus. The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport developed several apps that played a key role in policy to prevent the spread. To achieve this, the ministry relied on expertise both within and outside the government, including ours.
