Patients with rheumatism or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) often find it difficult to provide a complete picture of their disease progression during a brief consultation. Pfizer sought a way to structure and digitize this information-sharing process. The challenge was to create a user-friendly on-site system that would allow patients to independently complete validated medical questionnaires prior to their appointment.
Dawn Technology developed the software powering the physical kiosks in hospitals. The program translates complex scientific questionnaires into an accessible interface available in multiple languages. Using smart algorithms, the system instantly calculates scores that reflect the degree of disease control and the patient’s personal experience. This data is immediately made available to the healthcare provider, allowing the consultation to focus on what really matters.
The IMID Monitor transforms waiting time into valuable data collection.
