RTL recognised the need for a digital ecosystem that would support both goals: delivering a seamless user experience for audiences while simplifying content creation and publishing workflows for editorial teams. **Design & development**## One Central CMS for Every Newsroom RTL Nieuws wanted to replace its legacy systems with a single central content management platform that could serve all editorial teams. The new CMS needed to support the fast-paced workflows of modern newsrooms while handling every type of content, including: - Articles - Social media content and tweets - Images - Video content Reliability was also essential, as the platform plays a critical role in RTL’s daily news operations. After evaluating five different suppliers, RTL selected Dawn Technology to deliver the solution. ### Building Apps for Millions of Users In addition to the CMS platform, Dawn Technology contributed to the development of state-of-the-art mobile applications for RTL Nederland. These applications help viewers stay informed, engaged and connected to their favourite programmes. Together with Mediahuis, Dawn Technology developed Media Miner: an AI solution that, in a production-ready pilot, demonstrates how more than 400,000 videos can be automatically enriched and made instantly discoverable within the existing workflow. Health Lifestyle Mobile ## CRUSE Control app CRUSE Control is the reference self-evaluation app for chronic urticaria, built by Dawn Technology together with the Charité Institute of Allergology and the international UCARE network. Over 20,000 patients across 38 countries use the application daily to track symptoms and prepare for clinic visits.
