# A Platform Where Energy Producers and Consumers Connect Powerpeers connects people who want to share clean, sustainable energy with one another. Dawn Technology helped modernise the digital platform, making renewable energy more accessible, personal and community-driven for everyone. **Discovery**## From a Homepage Redesign to a Complete Platform Renewal [Powerpeers](https://powerpeers.nl) initially approached us with a request to redesign its homepage. During the collaboration, however, it became clear that there was an opportunity to improve much more than just the entry point of the platform. As the project evolved, the scope expanded into a broader platform transformation focused on improving the overall user experience, strengthening community engagement and supporting the company’s mission of making sustainable energy sharing easier and more transparent. **Design & development**## Redesigning the Entire Customer Journey Working closely with Bikkelhart, we redesigned not only the homepage but also several key components of the Powerpeers platform, including: - The complete customer acquisition funnel - The friends page - The community page - The FAQ section - The news and content pages - The overview pages for energy producers The new functionality and designs were introduced through a phased rollout approach. During the transition period, the legacy platform and the new environment operated alongside each other in an A/B testing setup. This allowed Powerpeers to validate design decisions, gather user feedback and optimise the customer experience before fully migrating to the new platform. The result was a smoother, more intuitive journey for both energy consumers and producers. **Conclusion**## A User-Friendly Platform for Sustainable Energy Sharing The renewed platform makes it easy for users to share renewable energy with friends, family members and colleagues. By simplifying the experience and strengthening the social aspect of energy sharing, Powerpeers continues to grow its community around sustainable energy consumption and production.
